Role Summary/Purpose
As the Medical Affairs Intern you will be involved in projects, communications and events with the team. This is a 12 month role staring in September 2016 working closely with our Medical Information Officers to deliver Medical Affairs service internally and externally globally. Essential Responsibilities
• You will use your scientific knowledge to communicate and interpret complex medical information to various internal or external audiences.
• There will be a focus on Neurology and Cancer but you will have exposure across the business.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales team to create material and information.
• Work as part of the Medical Affairs team globally.
• Develop presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.
• May be asked to analyse data with excel or various other analysis tools.
• May be asked to participate in events, seminars or trainings.
• Review literature and create summaries.
• Perform assignments where trust and accuracy are required.
• To produce FAQs and Standard Customer Letters, Medical Bulletins, One minute updates and slide deck repositories.
• Assistance in dealing with customer complaints and responding to internal product investigations.
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
• A degree in a biomedical science or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to articulate detailed scientific language into granular text and messages
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Comfortable presenting and creating written communications
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
• Willing and flexible to work around global time zones when needed
