Role Summary/Purpose

In your role you will work on a combination of theoretical and practical hands-on work in the workshop and be part of an interdisciplinary development team. We will encourage you to take an idea and bring it to live and you will get the opportunity to build and test a system you designed yourself
Essential Responsibilities

- work on designing and testing a demonstrator to verify performance of a mechanical system
- select suppliers, order components and assemble the demonstrator set up
- test the system, verify performance, sum up lessons learned as well as identify potential improvements
Qualifications/Requirements

- Good knowledge in mechanical engineering required
- Good knowledge of CAD software required (SolidWorks, Siemens UG NX, …)
- Knowledge of automation and sensors beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Can-do attitude
- Open and creative
- Team-work & commitment in a complex multi-site network structure
