Role Summary/Purpose

The Marketing - Security Analyst will focus on current vulnerability trends and news worthy events. You will create and maintain a blog presence that will include publication of relevant security insight to GE customers on a periodic basis. In addition, you will infuse security knowledge into our GE customer base. The Security Analyst will keep the GE sales force up to date with contemporary security events and knowledge relevant to our customers.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Security Analyst, you will:

·  Have knowledge of information systems security concepts and technologies which will include, network architecture and tools, general database concepts, document management, hardware and software troubleshooting, intrusion tools, and open source alternatives.
·  Research and create compelling documentation insight into contemporary Operational Technology security trends and issues.
·  Creation of internal and external security blog content. Create a sense of relevance and insight around security for internal and external customers
·  Get the scoop and break the story first on current security events.
·  Collaborate with security product management and technical product management to align research priorities

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

·  Effectively manages risk and uncertainty for self and team. Makes decisions with confidence when problems or solutions are not 100% defined
