Role Summary/Purpose

This 1 year internship will be based at the GE Monitoring and Diagnostics site in Lisburn, and is an excellent work experience opportunity for an enthusiastic university student who is interested in marketing within a large multinational company. The successful applicant will interact within our graphic design, product management and the engineering teams. The industry focus is products and services associated with electrical generation, transmission, and distribution.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Write success stories about our products in the field and publicize them
·  Produce regular newsletter to channel partners and direct customers
·  Keep customer contact database up to date for direct marketing
·  Produce content for segment specific brochures about using our products
·  Keep our web-site and partner information site fresh and up to date
·  Scope out and manage creation of videos both for training and marketing
·  Investigate use of social media within GE guidelines for our customer segment

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Have some experience in Marketing or Communication related degree 
·  A strong interest in B2B marketing of technical products 
·  Excellent written communication skills 
·  Good office computer skills (Power Point, Excel, Photoshop, …) 
·  The ability to work under own initiative
