Job Description Summary
Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

What you'll do
- Manage and plan the GE CSS Campinas shop operations in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of hourly employees and contractors.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team and act as lean leader in the Shop. Take ownership on Kaizen/Lean events with the ultimate goal of defining processes improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage inventory levels and guarantee accuracy through cycle and annual counting. Expected to manage the inventory based on standard KPI's and implement S&OP based on backlog and forecast provided by Sales. Define best practices to mitigate Excess & Obsolescence.
- Responsible for facilities activities such as industrial and building maintenance, janitorial and P&E (Plant & Equipment) projects.
- Manage shop operational activities such as equipment assembly inside our shop and outsourced, internal test activities and factory acceptance tests with customers. Guarantee exceptional customer experience and high quality standards of our products.
- Work in partnership with project management and engineering. Suggest mechanical layout, wiring diagram and overall project improvements as part of the continuous improvement cycle.
- Expected to demonstrate high levels of safety, security and quality practices and act as the role model in such values for the overall plant staff.
What you'll bring
- Graduation in an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Advanced English skills
- Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in the Energy or Oil & Gas industry acting in a global company with projects of high and moderate complexity.
- Previous experience with Planning and/or manufacturing activities in a Shop operations environment

- Responsible for the Shop QC (Quality Control) and guarantee material compliance according to engineering standards and customer requirements. Act as the point of contact in Supply Chain for TRS (Technical Regulations and Standards) matters of discussion with Engineering and ITO.
- Coordinate the national logistics chain (inbound & outbound) as well as the factory material flow. Overall shipping documents, packaging and wooden crates processes are also part of the scope.
- Previous experience working with highly customized projects for customers in Latin America
- Intermediate Spanish skills
