Job Description Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure equipment preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer’s specification and internal standards.

Job Description

·  Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/mechanical, equipment, machines, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
·  Perform preventive maintenance as defined by internal schedule
·  Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. 
·  Be example in respecting Safety and Environmental rules defined per internal procedure
·  Detect and report any deviations which could impart our equipment performance and/or lifetime
·  Suggest improvements to increase equipment and people efficiency
·  Perform any special assignments assigned by the Maintenance Manager to support site
·  Willingness to work in various shifts as needed by the management
·  Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility

Required Qualifications:

·  High School Diploma / GED
·  Minimum 5 years of experience performing maintenance duties within a manufacturing environment
·  Minimum 2 years of PLC experience

Desired Characteristics:

·  Demonstrate superior troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify root cause and resolution of equipment issues
·  Read and interpret equipment schematics and manuals
·  Perform equipment lockout/tag-out activities to safely de-energize equipment in accordance with plant program
·  Proficient computer skills (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Web interfaces) and responsive, customer-centric communication
·  Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
