Role Summary/Purpose
The Maintenance Planner will work hands on to plan and schedule preventative maintenance and other maintenance tasks across the PSM governed facility conducting chemical processing. This person supports a crew of approximately 28 team members to ensure manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety. Essential Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Planner, you will:
· Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use
· Be responsible for the Planning / Scheduling of maintenance work orders for a 24 hour PSM facility utilizing CMMS Maximo
· Lead by example in all GE initiatives including EHS, HR, Six Sigma, Quality, and computerized maintenance management
· Be responsible for developing and implementing job plans to establish proper task sequence, duration, materials and parts
· Create and maintain libraries of detailed job plans for preventative, predictive, and improvement maintenance activities for plant equipment and grounds
· Conduct weekly meetings with production and manufacturing engineers to plan, coordinate and schedule asset availability for upcoming maintenance activities
· Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action
· Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision
· Collect and analyze data against Key Performance Indicators
· Make recommendations for improving plants operations and solving maintenance related and production related problems
· Be responsible for organizing spare parts and materials in storerooms and warehouse
· Order maintenance parts and materials to support work execution
· Be responsible for scheduling on site services and sending equipment off site for repair
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

· Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
· Experience using Maximo
· Team oriented and able to work cross functionally across the site
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· Ability to work independently
· Strong problem solving skills
· Technical acumen – aptitude to understand complex manufacturing and design requirements, as well as the operational processes associated with chemical plants & equipment; demonstrated ability to work in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment
