Job Description Summary
The Logistics & Inventory Specialist will be responsible for allocation, coordination and delivery of all parts and supplies for NAM M&D Field Services and Depot Repair, both physically and virtually.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Performs internal RMA forms and shipments inbound/outbound including international
- Manage and track Field Engineers and other inventories and ensure accuracy
- Provides strong individual contributions in achieving team goals and objectives
- Preparation-dispatch of shipments, including emergency and after hours as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Must be a team player with positive and supportive attitude
- Must be extremely detailed and task oriented and able to handle multiple priorities
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills & impeccable follow through and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Knowledge of general shipping and receiving practices and procedures
- Inventory Tracking – maintain inventory records & conduct physical counts periodically
- Order & track shipping and other general supplies
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics and/or Inventory management
Desired Characteristics:
- ERP experience (SAP)
- Sales Force experience
- Motivated, reliable, well organized, detail oriented and team player with positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Flexibility to adapt and take on new tasks as needed
- Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
- Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
- Ability to communicate and integrate across functions within the business
