Essential Responsibilities

 Work with global cross function teams to deliver the NPI (New Product Introduction) programs on time.
 Own the system design of lighting, LED+, or connected home products
 Interpret the market demand into technical requirements for new product development;
 Lead connected lighting products design works, including Electrical driver, Firmware design, Mechanical design, Optical design, and ID design.
 Lead the activities of defining product User Case and Test Case, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Certification and Documentation.
 Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers;
 Work with suppliers and improve their capability to meet GE standards;
 Own GE internal review process of program execution.
Usage of Design for Six Sigma Quality Deployment tool set in product design and validation test;
Qualifications/Requirements

 Bachelor's degree on Engineering, from accredited university .
 Over 5 years’ electric, mechanical, optical, or system engineering experience in consumer electronic, lighting or appliance industry.
 Over 2 years’ experience of project management.
 Familiar with the regulations, including UL, CE, FCC, RoHS etc.
 Fluent Chinese and English on both oral and written language;
 Eager to initiate and drive changes cross different function teams; willing to take challenges and learn new knowledge.
Desired Characteristics

 Prefer major in Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science.
 Project management skills, Problem solving skills,
 Familiar with Lean six sigma methodology. Lean Six sigma GB certified.
