Essential Responsibilities

Provide test leadership for new product development and maintenance releases by designing and executing software testing for GE Healthcare's Patient Monitoring products. Create System Integration and Test plans to ensure successful Product Testing. Lead deployment of tools, processes and practices for system level testing and system quality assurance needed to support our annual product releases. Drive Product Integration and Test strategy. Partner with other Test Leads and Software Leads to integrate software and perform appropriate system testing including Non-Functional Requirement Testing (e.g. Compatibility, Performance, Reliability). Define system testing and verification strategy and execute according to plan. Prepare estimates for project deliverables related to testing. Develop software test strategies, test specification/test cases and execute test cases. Develop and execute integration and system tests to verify the product / customer offerings. Apply technical expertise and oversight to ensure quality of test case design and implementation. Mentor other test engineers on the team to develop high quality software test cases. Collaborate as a member of a global software test team when developing GE Healthcare products. Promote a culture that ensures outstanding compliance and adherence to product quality. Communicate, present, discuss, and document technical information internally amongst teams.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related computer field and 4 years of experience in related occupation required. The position also requires 4 years experience in software verification/testing, designing and executing test cases; 2 years experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Automated Testing; 3 years experience with exploratory, interoperability, stress, performance, reliability, acceptance testing and end-to-end system testing; 2 years experience with Software Testing methodology/processes/tools; 1 year experience in programming languages including Java, C++, or Python; 1 year experience with Source Code Management Tools such as Perforce, SVN, or Git, and software debugging tools; and 2 years experience working as part of Agile Scrum Teams.
