As Lead Quality Specialist you will support all activities coordinated by the Brindisi Quality System Leader in order to support implementation and maintainement of all elements included in the applicable regulations and Safety Management System.
You will work within Site Quality Organization and you will be a member of the Quality System Team as one of the focal point within the Quality System for various activities according to Requirements for Aviation and Defence Organizations and International Quality Standard.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
·
Daily support on the Standard Work of Site Quality System
·
Review of quality documentation in accordance with applicable standard and regulations (i.e. Part 145, Part 21)
·
Prepare, issue and monitoring qualification of personnel and manage the approval list
·
Manage stamps control and qualification of certified / qualified personnel in the site
·
Contribute to improving and simplifying processes and procedures in compliance with both external and internal quality requirements
·
Facilitate all regulatory and customer audits, work with the appropriate functions in the formulation of corrective actions
Qualifications/Requirements
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanic and/or Aerospace and/or Management Engineering
·
Previous experience in Quality roles in maintenance and/or production environment, preferably in Aerospace or Aeronautical field companies
·
Knowledge of Quality standard and Airworthiness Authority regulations
·
Knowledge of Production and Maintenance activities
·
Demonstrated experience in facing and supporting audits
·
Ability to identify and evaluate risks
·
Experience in Quality System documentation modification management, preferably both in Commercial and Military applications
·
Knowledge of UN9100 and/or UN9110
·
Availability to business trips in Italy and abroad
·
Fluent in Italian and English
·
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
·
Effective problem identification and solution skills
·
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups
·
Knowledge of materials used for the aviation industry.
·
General knowledge of main quality problem solving tools (e.g. Ishikawa diagram, 5Wx3L, Pareto Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R, etc.).
·
Strong oral and written communication skills
·
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·
Able to coordinate many tasks concurrently
·
Study or working experience abroad will be considered as a plus
·
Previous work experience in Aviation industry will be considered as a plus
