The Program Design Change Specialist manages the flow of design data from Type Certificate Holders and ensures effective configuration control of parts in production. The role coordinates technical documentation and implementation of configuration changes, supporting both program teams and customer-facing activities

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

· 
Assure, together with the Program Manager, the correct and complete flow down of design data, received from the different TCH (Type Certificate Holder) to the production organization

· 
Assure the configuration management of the parts produced according to design data through the following activities:

· 
Guarantee configuration data/document availability, archiving and distribution to production organization (Change in Design/Service Bulletin /Drawing/Part List )

· 
Support Program manager during the Program control board to involve properly the production organization, define and agree action plan and Point of introduction;

· 
Prepare the Authorization of Modification Introduction (AIM) for the Program Manager to sign

· 
Assures the on-time action plan completion and PoE respect

· 
Verifies the correct introduction of the changes to configuration through periodical internal audit

· 
Supports the Program Manager and Program Cost Manager in analyzing cost (technical obsolescence, non-recurrent cost etc.) coming from changes to configuration

· 
May act in alternative to the Program Manager as Customer Point-of-Contact for issues relevant to the changes to configuration

Qualifications/Requirements

· 
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Management Engineering

· 
Previous experience in Project Management or Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering, Product Quality

· 
Knowledge of technical drawing, project planning techniques

· 
Knowledge of the configuration management process in complex and highly regulated environments

· 
Fluent in Italian and English

· 
Good knowledge of digital tools such as the Microsoft Office package and SAP

· 
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
