Role Summary/Purpose
The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will:
· Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules
· Plan and schedule material / production needs
· Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge
· Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, as the Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will:
· Locate and sort all DEAIO programs shipping containers and ensure proper storage
· Coordinate engine shipment with Ryder or 3rd party provider
· Partner with business leaders to enhance floor management of Engines, HW, & Tooling locations
· International Shipping Liaison for DEAIO :
· Modules
· Engines
· Hardware
· Engineering requests
· Track / Trace incoming and outgoing modules / hardware through all DEAIO Materials owned lanes (800,700,500 docks)
· Manage container return(s) and coordinate with local agencies to ship
· Safran
· IHI
· local suppliers
· Customs liaison (responding to custom inquires and issues for held shipments)
· Return of damaged / obsolete hardware / tooling within DEAIO shop
· POC for shop logistics and transportation requirements
· Assist fulfillment team with hardware management
· Act as Stores manager when covering Overtime needs in DEIAO
· Utilize the following systems to complete work such as:
· Oracle
· CAS
· Esales
· Impact
· TMS
· MES
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution
