Role Summary/Purpose

The Plant Finance Manager provides financial analysis for over $80MM annual spend at the Albeo LED fixtures manufacturing plant. Areas of focus include variable cost productivity, inflation, standard cost liquidations, base cost and inventory tracking
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, the Plant Finance Manager will :

·  Provide financial leadership as a key member of the plant direct staff critical in identification and tracking of projects impacting operating metrics 

·  Develop the financial and operational reporting metrics leveraging the SAP ERP platform 

·  Actively participate in both short and long range forecasts including BRPs and OP plan cycles 

·  Create annual product cost standards to support Commercial team’s profitability analytics and strategy 

·  Drive strong controllership environment in all plant routines including but not limited to physical inventories, fixed assets, account reconciliations and product costing 

·  Champion simplification of financial and operating routines including local leadership for North Americas SAP go live preparations 

·  Local ownership of corporate ad hoc requests critical to driving operational transparency and effective controllership environment
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university or college

·  A minimum of 3 years experience in financial analysis
Desired Characteristics

·  PFLP, CAS, FMP or equivalent training (GE Only) 

·  Prior manufacturing experience a plus 

·  SAP and Hyperion experience strongly desired 

·  Demonstrated leadership skills and high energy level. 

·  PC / System skills – SAP, Hyperion, MARS, and Excel 

·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - ability to analyze information and identify implications; quickly grasp new ideas 

·  Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while consistently delivering results 

·  Adaptable to new information and unexpected circumstances 

·  Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues 

·  Solid accounting skills 

·  Strong oral and written communication skills 

·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills 

·  Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems 

·  Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects 

·  Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs 

·  Established project management skills
