As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer - Product Owner at our Auburn, AL site, you will be responsible for departmental operations planning/execution and be focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. In this role, you will function with some autonomy but will be guided by established policies or review of end results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·  Direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development
·  Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
·  Use some judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
·  Use technical experience and analytical thinking
·  Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
·  Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
·  Lead small projects
·  Explain information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
·  Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Required Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing and/or Manufacturing Engineering Specialist experience)
·  Additional 3 years of Manufacturing and/or Manufacturing Engineering Specialist experience
