The lead finance specialist will play a critical role in supporting GE Aerospace’s T&O (Technology & Operations) organization by managing the reporting and forecasting of spares and engine output. This position requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on accuracy and operational alignment to ensure the delivery of ~$7B in engine and spare parts output.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Engine Output Reporting:

·  Lead the reporting and communication of Supply Chain engine output (~$5B).
·  Partner with cross-functional teams to reconcile engine unit reporting and address delivery and quality constraints.
·  Forecast engine output and communicate insights across the organization.

Spares Reporting & Forecasting:

·  Collaborate with P&Ls to streamline reporting processes for spare parts (~$2B output).
·  Refine spares forecasting processes to improve operational visibility and alignment with business goals.
·  Collaborate with operations team to identify drivers and leading indicators of spares cost variance
·  Assist broader T&O cost organization with reporting spares related cost metrics in relation to month close and forecasting cycles

Below-the-Line Reconciliation:

·  Perform checks and controls to ensure accuracy in reconciling output to the ledger.
·  Run analytics to support T&O FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).
·  Reconcile cost and volume for spares linkage throughout T&O, ensuring alignment with total company reporting.

Process Improvement:

·  Apply FLIGHTDECK principals to standardize reporting and forecasting processes around T&O output metrics

Required Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
·  At least 2 years of proven experience in supply chain reporting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
·  Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
·  Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SAP).
·  Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
