What impact you’ll make:
As a member of the Gas Power Global Supply Chain Process Center of Excellence, the horizontal site support for manufacturing and repairs operations is the key finance partner flexing across one or multiple sites. This role is responsible for comprehensive financial planning, reporting and analysis to downstream site operations and finance leaders. The mission of the horizontal site support is to drive improvements to core finance processes and partner with Data & Analytics COE to create tools & analytical solutions that enabling efficiency to downstream operating partners. This role has indirect oversight over of gross production costs, inventory, and capital spend while driving key performance indicators including labor productivity, utilization and indirect costs per hour (utilities, supplies & tooling, maintenance).
Job Description
What you’ll do
· Support manufacturing finance or other site related activities impacting the site financial results via planning, pacing, monthly operating reviews (MOR), closing, and audit
· Work closely together with plant finance manager to coordinate financial deliverables and reporting across functional stakeholders (Production Leaders, Facilities, HR, EHS, Quality)
· Analyze, understand and effectively communicate financial variance drivers for plant operating profit including volume, mix, Product cost out (PCO), FX, etc.
· Leverage indirect Data & Analytics COE and predictive analytic tools to enhance finance activities, pacing accuracy and provide value-add insights to operations
· Identify and effectively communicate financial risks and opportunities and impact on operational KPIs
· Support LEAN and standardization initiatives across Gas Supply Chain Finance organization. Participate in Finance LEAN Roadmap projects as team member or project leader delivering high impact financial analytics and controls that drives finance capacity increase and operational accountability
· Provide insights and transparency to actual costs, aligning site/VS roadmap to develop pipeline to improve or control total cost per unit and bill rates
· Support process and analytics surrounding standard costing, Slow Moving Inventory, FIFO, Cost of poor quality
· Support fixed asset & Inventory physical stocktake and partner to implement remediation plan to improve plant level controls
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
· Significant FP&A and Supply Chain Finance experience
· Knowledge of accounting policies and practices
·
Fluent English knowledge is essential
· System ERP Expertise: SAP
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Willingness to travel up to 10%
