What impact you’ll make:  

As a member of Gas Power Global Supply Chain, the Materials P&L Lead Analyst is a key finance partner for the Global Supply Chain FP&A Leader. The role holder will work together with different operation teams including Materials Management / Sourcing / Factories / Warehouses as well as other Finance functions (Controllership, Operations Finance). Manages the closing and forecasting activities for the area she/he is assigned to and has to summarize complex problem for business leaders.

What you’ll do   

· 
Supports in the reporting and analytics, both detailed and summarized view of materials P&L results

· 
Supports FP&A activities and rhythms, including planning, pacing, monthly operating reviews (MOR), closing, and audits 

· 
Coordinate key closing activities, ensure timely, accurate and complete results reporting

· 
Analyze variances and trends to determine changes in key business metrics vs. expectations and review with leadership team

· 
Provide sustainable and insightful analysis and reporting of key business metrics and partner with the Materials operating team to drive appropriate actions

· 
Own forecasting of cost and inventory related lines, partnering with operations to drive efficiencies and track execution of initiatives (Surplus/deficit calculations, modification, cycle count forecasting, closing and reporting, sourcing related charges)

· 
Able to identify and effectively communicate financial risks and opportunities and impact on operational KPIs  

· 
Leverage technology and tools to drive efficiency in work, increasing the level of standard work

· 
Supports and leads LEAN and standardization initiatives across GSC delivering high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)  

· 
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Management or related fields.

· 
Prior FP&A and Supply Chain Finance experience

· 
Experience in closing, analyzing, and forecasting in a multiple legal entity environment

· 
Experience with core financial systems and processes (GL, transaction registers, journal entries)

· 
Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers

· 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting with multiple levels across the organization

· 
Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances

· 
Strong excel and power point skills.

What will make you stand out

FP&A budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience is a plus.

· 
SAP / Oracle knowledge is an advantage.

· 
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

· 
Established project management skills.
