Role Summary/Purpose

Working in the OTR (Order To Remittance) Team, the Engineer will be tasked with receiving project inputs from the ITO team once a quote turns into an order, and execute all tasks leading up to the final release of the parts, drawings and specifications.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Lead Wellhead Design Engineer, you will:

·  Operate within the OTR team, executing tasks to fulfill customer sales orders and any internal equipment that are necessary to fulfill our business obligation, while following the applicable engineering quality procedures and process

·  Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

·  Provide technical leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project

·  Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems

·  Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues / problems

·  Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues

·  Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements

·  Participate and present or review in technical and program reviews

·  Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

·  Experience leading OTR project execution for large scale projects (1000+ hours) as well as for small scale quick turn-around “flow” projects

·  Experience resolving customer issues with 6A products

·  Experience working directly with customers for both design development and for problem resolution

·  Experience working with a large group of stakeholders in Engineering as well as the Customer, Sales, Project Managers, Manufacturing Planners, Manufacturing and Service

·  Experience with product rationalization and design optimization

·  Experience driving cost reduction initiatives such as lowering cost of quality or coming up with solutions to permit usage of obsolete materials in active projects

·  Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills to engage with team members for project execution as a team

·  Strong presentation skills and experience training others about 6A equipment

·  Experience using EPIMS (Vetco Gray / GE) is preferred

·  At least 1 year of experience using 3D CAD (Creo and Pro-E preferred)

·  Proficient with ANSYS workbench for simple structural finite element analyses of 6A equipment
