Role Summary/Purpose

The manager shall be responsible for providing Engineering support (including parts identification) for all activities associated with Outage, Repairs and small upgrades to Steam turbines of Own Design and Cross fleet.
He shall support activities which concern providing engineering inputs, estimates for planned outage during Initial Tendering & Order execution phases.
Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for all engineering support to be provided to Field teams executing Steam Turbine outages / small upgrade projects.
Issue resolution mgmt.
Disposition on operational issues & findings on site and factories (incl. parts deliveries NCR’s) for Engineering requests raised in the system "Service Now"
Root cause investigations / analysis (RCI/RCA) for Steam Turbine failures at site.
Maintain Steam Power inspection standards
Fleet Knowledge Management including contribution to TIL creation, approval and assignment.
Support to customer visits, meetings and common forums which discuss site related issues, New
Product Introductions and Cost reduction related to Outages
Qualifications/Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Equivalent.
Overall experience of about 10-15 years in similar work area.
At-least 3-5 years experience in a managerial position.
Preferred to have on-site experience of 3-5 years on Steam Turbines
erection/commissioning/operations
