This role supports the design and procurement of Electrical BOP systems for hydro power plants, covering conceptual, basic, and detailed design of various EBOP packages. It also leads project execution design activities within established functional practices and procedures to meet organizational KPIs.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

·  Design and support EBOP packages such as transformers, GIS, switchyards, busducts, distribution systems, cables, and grounding systems.
·  Perform both basic and detailed engineering design, including system sizing and preparation of calculation reports.
·  Evaluate supplier offers, coordinate with vendors, and support bid evaluation activities.
·  Manage package-related risks and opportunities while ensuring timely delivery of technical documents.
·  Monitor project interfaces across EBOP packages and other functions to ensure proper integration and issue resolution.
·  Support client meetings, apply design processes effectively, and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive execution.

Required Qualification

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with experience in EBOP design for hydro power plants.
·  Strong knowledge of major EBOP packages and related electrical design practices.
·  Customer-focused and delivery-oriented.
·  Advanced English knowledge.
·  Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of ETAP, system studies, and protection settings is a plus
