Role Summary/Purpose
The Lead Contract Pricing Analyst will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities
· Prepare pricing volumes for both Government and Commercial proposals that include multiyear, sole source and competitive acquisitions ensuring compliance with company pricing guidelines in addition to government rules and regulations
· Analyze, interpret, and ensure the accuracy of cost and pricing data provided to the US Government and other international government customers and higher tier prime contractors
· Meet organizational objectives for proposal quality and timeliness
· Meet US Government requirements for current, accurate and complete cost data
· Participate in fact-finding and negotiation meetings, which include supporting and explaining cost or pricing data for customers as well as the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
· Facilitate functional contributor training and cost input for cost-based proposals
· May be required to calculate various economic analyses, and present results to cross functional teams, management, and customers
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting, finance, cost analyst, or pricing position)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or cost analyst position and US Government contracts and/or pricing
Desired Characteristics
· Experience with preparing recurring cost breakdowns; termination liability schedules and liquidation/funding profiles
· Understand Bills of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing processes including labor and material procurement
· Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.4 Contract Pricing
· Experience with complex proposal development, the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), US Government pricing and contracting requirements and subcontracting processes and procedures
· Solid expertise in with Excel spreadsheets or other electronic proposal tools
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
· Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build solid relationships with others in the pricing team, cost contributors, and management
· High-energy team player
· Ability to manage projects / assignments within tight deadlines
