Active contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities      

·  Lead, prepare and complete System Design Technical Reviews.
·  Lead, prepare and complete / approve Module certification documents, to be delivered to Type Certificate Holder and / or Certifying Agency.
·  Lead Field Investigation and root cause analysis adopting TOPS8D methodology.
·  Interface with subject matter experts and product support engineers to provide inputs and operating instructions for field issues resolution and deviations management within continuous airworthiness domain (closure of Technical Queries, Safety Alerts and Orange events with Customer and Agency).
·  Execute and manage New Product Introduction activities within Avio Aero phase and gate design process, including both analytical and experimental verification / validation steps.
·  Support definitoion of engineering tasks plan and budget.  
·  Report to leadership on execution of engineering and program milestones.

Qualifications/Requirements         

·  Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university.
·  Have strong engineering outlook. Hands-on engineering foundation, experience with Engineering Departments workflows and responsibilities.
·  Experience on Mechanical Transmissions Systems and good knowledge of FE analysis and drawings/schemes drafting and interpretation.
·  Knowledge of failure analysis techniques.
·  Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
·  Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required.
