Role Summary/Purpose
As a Software Engineer (m/f), you are a member of our agile Application Development Team based in Dornstadt/Ulm. The team is part of a global software organization and develops a Radiology Information System (RIS) integrated in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) which are used in hospitals globally.
Essential Responsibilities
· You are expected to bring your experience in developing high quality software as a contributor to the team.
· You will leverage TDR (Technical Design Reviews) for software and Agile software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle and engage in technical discussions and design/code reviews, sharing information across the team.
· We will provide you an environment where you will work in close collaboration with product management in order to build products our customers want, with the high quality the field of medical device software requires.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· Professional experience with Java
· Experience developing Java Web applications
· Experience with database development using SQL
Desired Characteristics
· Experience developing rich web applications using JSF and JavaScript and web services in REST
· Experience developing Java application using ADF and Swing incl. automated tests using JUnit
· Experience developing in ORACLE database environment incl. PL/SQL
· Experience developing software following a defined software development lifecycle (SDLC)
· Experience working as part of an agile software development team, using Scrum, Continuous Integration
