Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

·  Work closely with cross-functional teams in requirements gathering and software design
·  Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common
software platforms designs and applying in-depth knowledge of product related technologies,
technology platforms, architectures, engineering design principles and advancements
·  Manage programming and design evolution across multi-generation product releases
·  Leverage technical experience to work on business initiatives aimed at innovation and quality
excellence
·  Use Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the
product development life-cycle

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
·  Strong experience in Java software development
·  Good knowledge on many from the following technology stack
·  Java, J2EE, Spring Framework,
MVC, App server Knowledge (Weblogic/JBoss etc.), OSGi, SOAP/REST webservices
·  Excellent knowledge with development tools and integrated build systems: Eclipse IDE,
Jenkins/Hudson, Maven
·  Software development cycle and automated testing experience (TDD/BDD)
·  Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as
CVS/SVN/ClearCase/Git/Perforce
·  Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise
·  Fluent Hungarian

Desired Characteristics

·  Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related computer field
·  Experience in software platform, advanced applications, user-interface design and/or systems
engineering
·  Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
·  Experience in automated testing and unit testing
·  Experience in medical image and/or data processing (DICOM, HL7)
·  Experience in shared memory, in memory and inter-process / inter-node communication
·  Experience in object oriented design methodology and various programming languages,
including C++ or C#.NET
·  Fluent English
