Role Summary/Purpose
Support in managing ERP implementation, business requirements elicitation and End user operational support in driving business operation and enabling business processes. The PMO as a key member of the ERP project team will works directly with the project manager to help deliver the project on time, within budget and acceptable quality.
Essential Responsibilities
• Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit analysis & resource management plan.
• Work with business process leaders to evaluate and improve business processes.
• Guide and assist users in resolving problems through established support process channel.
• Accountably manage projects or tasks as may be assigned including management of issues/risks, roadblocks, dependencies and communication to stakeholders.
• Co-ordinate day to day project execution activities and team to ensure that projects are timely delivered.
• Track and maintain the project schedule as task manager.
• Update risk and issue log sheets.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting on a consistent basis
• Escalate issues early about the project to the business project manager.
• Follow up on all open items to program/project manager.
• Perform general communication between ERP working team and departments.
• Collect and analysis information and data.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Major in computer science, information management, engineering, finance, or business management related discipline.
• GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
• Students to graduate between September 2019 and July 2020;
• Good communication skill and ability to interact professionally in English with diverse groups/Stakeholders
• At least 2 months full time internship (July and Aug 2019) is preferred.
Desired Characteristics
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft suites – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and other PMO tools.
• Ability to work with diverse team (virtual / co-located)
• Good leadership and organizational skills
• Quick learner and ability to work with minimal guide
• Good knowledge of business processes and ability to articulate business requirements.
• Strong team player and able to adapt to challenges and multi-cultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work in multiple time zones
• Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
• Understanding, experience and expertise of ERP system/solutions will be a plus.
