As Intern - Manufacturing Engineer you will collaborate with your team in order to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high yield, minimize risk of deviation/scrap and meet required production rates.
Job Description
Essential Resposabilities
·
Participate in design manufacturing router and documentation according to company procedures and customer requirements
·
Support in providing manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products
·
Support in the application Design for Manufacturing principles, working with a cross functional team to ensure 6-Sigma process capability and stable process
·
Work with manufacturing engineers and manufacturing shop personnel to validate processes, tools, equipment
·
Support design fixtures, tooling and equipment for production and new product development
·
Contribute to the determination of safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of production
·
Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areas
·
Assist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective actions
·
Support the achievement of all objectives, including safety, quality and productivity
Qualifications/Requirements
·
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Material or Management Engineering
·
Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
·
Knowledge of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes
·
Willingness to learn from others and to work in team
·
Curious and eager to learn
·
Fluent Italian and English
·
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
