Role Summary/Purpose

For our location in Freiburg we are looking for a motivated Intern to support our Software Engineering devision. Be part of our international Software Engineering team for at least 5 months and have the chance to also get experience from other divisions of GE. 
Essential Responsibilities

·  Development of smaller software projects for the Microsoft platform, based on the latest Microsoft technologies .Net/C#
·  Support of the technical infrastructure and data extraction for data analytics projects
·  Documentation of detailed requirements, designs, implementation and test activities per the IEC 62304 standard
·  Active support for continuous improvement of software quality
·  Setup of a test system with physical and virtual server environments
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Student (m/f) in the field of Software Engineering, IT or comparable
·  Experience in the creation of modern software concepts and the design of modern User Interfaces
·  Experience with relational databases programming, especially with MS SQLServer 2012 or higher
·  Self-dependent and structural working mode
·  Good communication skills and good team player
·  Engagement and good handling of working stress
·  Very good English and good German language skills
