Role Summary/Purpose
This role serves as the HR Manager for Aviation’s Military Systems Operation (MSO) Lynn-based commercial teams. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and HR employee support in the areas of culture and change management, talent assessment and development, succession planning and performance management. The incumbent will engage in critical HR projects within MSO as well as more broadly across Aviation and GE.
Essential Responsibilities
· Provide HRBP and HRM support to the following MSO
organizations:
· LTTD (Lynn Turbofan / Turbojet Projects)
· TSTP (Turboshaft / Turboprop Projects)
· Manufacturing Programs
· Digital and Growth & Strategy Operations
· Partner with the business, site, commercial and
functional HR teams to engage, support and execute strategic HR activities
· Provide HR leadership and counsel to multiple managers
and employees with a focus on:
· diversity & inclusion
· talent assessment
· employee coaching and development
· succession planning
· culture, advocacy and engagement
· employee relations
· Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees
to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures
and practices
· Act as an organizational & simplification champion
who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners
with clients to maximize team performance
· Lead and support HR related initiatives and training
across MSO globally, as well as Aviation HR training and support
for functional processes
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Or high school diploma/GED plus 6 years experience)
· Minimum of four years in the Human Resources function with responsibilities such as:
· recruiting
· training
· compensation
· benefits
· employee development
· or performance management
· Minimum of two years HR experience supporting employees and managers

Desired Characteristics
· Bachelors degree in human resources from an accredited university or college
· Masters degree in human resources from an accredited university or college
· GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program
· PHR / SPHR certification
· Experience working in a matrixed work environment
· Outstanding collaboration and project management skills
· Track record of strong execution and ability to effectively manage through ambiguity
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Confidence to voice opinions and ideas
· Willingness to deliver tough feedback / coaching to all levels of the organization
