Role Summary/Purpose

Human Resources interns may work in any of the following areas: employee relations, recruiting, compensation/benefits, workforce planning, diversity and special projects. These opportunities provide real HR experience supporting GE business groups and prepare student for full time HR positions within GE. Activities may include strategy development support, research, client support, project management and other function specific job duties.

Essential Responsibilities

GE Aviation is the world leading producer of Aircraft Engines and Avionic Systems. GE Aviation's co-op's / interns gain broad exposure to varied areas: employee relations, recruitment, compensation/benefits, workforce planning, policy development and related on their field of study. Experienced managers mentor co-op/intern contributions and development during their assignments. Co-op's / interns build leadership and functional skills through structured hands-on and class room training that complements challenging work experience. Multiple rotations allow for students to have a truly diverse experience while building industry expertise.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate program

·  Meet required degree majoring in Human resources, Industrial & Labor Relations

·  Completed one full year of college (rising Sophomore)

·  Minimum 3.0 GPA without rounding

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
