Role Summary/Purpose
Provide Human Resources and Union Relations support for Erlanger, KY, site and select Evendale, OH, site teams including hourly and salaried populations. Responsibilities include managing organizational and employee related issues, as well as local grievance procedures. This HRM will also coach employees and leaders, provide HR process expertise and support all other general HR activities.
Essential Responsibilities
· Own site staffing and talent development strategies, employee performance management, ongoing talent reviews and compensation cycles. Provide HR support to site change management processes, growth playbook and business strategy, and site priority setting.
· Partner closely with UAW union relations leader on union relations strategy, interpretation of UAW contract, application of labor law, and identification of risk in contractual interpretation at the site. Manage the local grievance process (ADR, DRP, etc.)
· Balance the role of employee advocacy with driving accountability equitably across the organization
· Mentor operations team to help them understand, interpret, and apply contract and policies consistently
· Holds the operations team accountable to contract & policies
· Ensures business stakeholders are aware of the importance of effective negotiating and key negotiation topics
· Help establish and uphold company positions, understand union positions, and clarify and reduce the gap between company and union positions
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university or college (Or a high school graduate / GED with a minimum of 6 years of HR experience)
· Minimum of 3 years prior HR experience (including internships)

· Master’s degree in Human Resources from an accredited university or college
· GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program
· PHR / SPHR certification

· Desires employee-facing work; willingness to make horizontal moves to develop HR expertise

· Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skill
