Job Description Summary
The GridOS Plan Delivery Manager role is an integral part of the team, responsible for delivering best-in-class consultancy services, developing project delivery strategies, and managing the delivery of technical solutions and consultancy for key customer accounts within GE Vernova.
The Delivery Manager will lead projects from a technical delivery standpoint, overseeing a team of engineers from GE Vernova and partner organizations involved in GridOS Plan projects. The role ensures that solutions are delivered in accordance with the defined scope, contract, schedule, and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
In this role, as a GridOS Plan Delivery Manager , you will:
· Own the end-to-end responsibility for the technical execution and delivery of GridOS Plan projects, ensuring all contractual commitments—scope, budget, timeline, and quality—are met.
· Build effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), develop detailed technical delivery schedules, and track progress to keep the Project Manager (PM) informed.
· Implement Agile, DevOps, or other applicable delivery methodologies to drive efficient and transparent execution.
· Ensure a clear and shared understanding of the full project scope through the formulation and clarification of the Statement of Work (SoW).
· Define and assign technical delivery packages according to the agreed RACI matrix, and establish project governance processes during the planning phase, including provisions for Support Handover activities.
· In coordination with the PM and Resource Managers, define and staff the project delivery team based on scope, budget, and schedule, and facilitate effective onboarding of all resources.
· Lead all technical aspects of project execution, including setting up project development and support environments, managing document repositories, and maintaining Scrum boards.
· Ensure alignment with the RACI matrix, assign work packages to internal teams and partners, and oversee technical reviews and “Show and Tell” sessions.
· Conduct regular technical meetings—both internal and external—with partners and suppliers, and lead Agile daily stand-ups.
· Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage scope, risks, and issues. Identify, document, and estimate any change requests (CRs) or project risks with mitigation plans, ensuring all CRs are peer-reviewed and reflected in the WBS and schedule.
· Validate and trigger engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness) and confirm the completion of deliverables at each milestone and stage review.
· Drive coordination between the Project and Product Engineering teams, managing testing, defect resolution, and non-product requirements in collaboration with Product Management.
· Ensure all development and documentation outputs are fit for purpose and compliant with agreed standards.
· Confirm that technical resource timesheets correspond to assigned work packages, and proactively review activities against the SoW/WBS, informing the PM of any deviations, delays, or risks.
· Contribute to customer management by providing technical coordination and building trust through reliable delivery.
· Support tendering activities by validating delivery models and estimations.
· Ensure a smooth project closure and transfer to maintenance and support through coordinated knowledge transfer sessions.
· Utilize GE Vernova product knowledge and engineering expertise to drive excellence through continuous improvement, change management, and adherence to Quality Procedures and the Quality Management System (QMS).
· Demonstrate strong EHS leadership, ensuring the Zero Deviation Plan is implemented in all areas of responsibility.
· Promote a positive, customer-focused attitude with a collaborative, “can-do” mindset.
Qualifications
· Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
· Experience with GNM Smallworld , preferably GNM PNI .
· Knowledge of telecommunications (Telco) networks and technologies.
· Experience in business analysis and solution architecture for large, complex enterprise solutions.
· Direct customer-facing experience.
· Proven track record in problem analysis, identification, and resolution.
· Demonstrated experience in defining and managing delivery teams.
· Proven ability to define and assign work packages.
· Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
· Strong process and methodology orientation.
· Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals.
· Ability to focus on critical business outcomes and drive teams to achieve these goals.
· Strong presentation and communication skills ( German and English required ).
· Ability and willingness to travel.

· Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
· Experience with software development and version control (e.g., GitHub).
· Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
· Experience in Magik development.
· Understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST).
· Experience with Geo Spatial Server (GSS) deployment, configuration, and development.
