Role Summary/Purpose
The Grid Automation Services Customer Analytics Leader is responsible for market research and analysis to support GA Global Services growth target. The role will be responsible for gathering data from a variety of sources and building a global view of customer needs and market players positioning to support the development of GA Services strategic direction.
Essential Responsibilities
· Perform research and gather data about customers’ needs and roadmaps, competitors’ positioning, and market conditions with focus on Energy market segment
· Gather information such as customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits using a variety of methods, such as interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, market analysis surveys, public opinion polls, and literature reviews.
· Analyze data using statistical software and data science methodology
· Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports to drive decisions
· Develop global heat map and profit pools for GA Services and communicate effectively to key stakeholders
· Support GA Services Product Managers in market segmentation efforts, articulating value propositions, and GA Services market positioning
· Monitor and forecast technology, industry, and services trends and propose actions to adjust GA Services strategic direction based on data analysis
· Prepare reports and present results to GA Services and GA Leadership team
· Measure the effectiveness of GA Services marketing programs and strategies
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Data Science, and/or Business Administration/Marketing
· 5+ years of experience using statistical software and data science methodology for market research
· 3+ years of Energy industry experience demonstrated by a good understanding of customer needs and industry trends
· Strong math and analytical skills
