Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for providing strategic and operational finance leadership to the global Parts organization across variable/base cost management, which includes in/outbound transportation, warehousing, material variances, on/offshore contractor services, IT programs and other structural cost. Serves as a key business partner to the operating team to drive efficiency and variable and base cost productivity. Manages key operating metrics, P&L reporting and provides oversight financial processes.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Partner with the GSPO leadership and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for projects and initiatives impacting variable and base costs 
·  Ownership for developing, and consolidating estimates, forecasts and reporting actuals for all global parts income statement accounts 
·  Ownership and management of specific regional accounts, including transportation, warehousing and other logistics related accounts, partnering with regional operating teams
·  Driving variable and base cost productivity through partnership with the operating teams on projects and initiatives 
·  Driving profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions. Drive global working capital improvements 
·  Manage global capital investments 
·  Work with Controllership & Operational teams to adopt Healthcare SOP’s Drive profitable global growth by providing analysis of results and identifying  
·  tracking key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
·  Work with the Controllership and Planning & Analysis teams to define the relevant IT platform and requirements to support analysis, improve data visibility and ensure controllership
·  Lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification throughout the organization and to improve rigor in key Finance processes, reducing costs and improving profitability
·  Drive quarterly indirect ledger ties to work with FP& A to identify areas of leakage
·  Contribute to improving efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information (e.g. report dashboard and VC productivity). Actively participate with Operations Management to improve variable cost productivity 
·  Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard Production Cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment 
·  Assist with management reporting (regional and segment P&L’s) and communicate results to managers 
·  Drive consistent usage of Hyperion, and COGNOS Business Intelligence (B.I.) tools across GE Healthcare. Develop and implement new reports for process improvements and productivity
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of three years of financial work experience or 
·  High School Diploma/GED and minimum of six years financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
