What impact you’ll make

As a Generator Maintenance Technician of the Field Service Engineering team, you will be you will be an active contributor to ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of wind turbine generator systems. You will support preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives that help maximize equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

What you’ll do

·  Work independently to perform fault analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbine generator systems using GE technologies, in Portugal and abroad when required, including responding to and clarifying customer inquiries.
·  Carry out planned and preventive maintenance activities on wind turbine generator systems using GE and ECO technologies.
·  Document service call responses, fault diagnosis, and repair activities through service reports, logbooks, and checklists.
·  Coordinate on-site activities with internal teams, external service providers, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

·  Professional or higher training in electromechanics within the wind energy sector, with electrical and/or mechanical service or maintenance experience.
·  High level of quality awareness, with excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills, and the ability to identify and resolve faults, defects, and technical problems.
·  Familiar with electronic equipment, PLC systems, and proficient in MS Office applications
·  Able to work at heights and willing to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
·  English level A2–B1 or higher, with fluent Portuguese.
·  Class B driving license
·  Valid Work Permit for the country where the position is offered
