Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assemble instrument transformers according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
·  Utilize hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to complete assembly tasks.
·  Ensure all components are properly aligned, calibrated, and installed according to quality standards.
·  Conduct inspections and tests to verify conformance with specifications and quality requirements.
·  Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
·  Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals and resolve any assembly issues.
·  Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·  High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.
·  Proven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
·  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
·  Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
·  Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
·  Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Previous experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.
·  Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
·  Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

·  Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.
·  Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
