Essential Responsibilities:
- Assemble instrument transformers according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to complete assembly tasks.
- Ensure all components are properly aligned, calibrated, and installed according to quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify conformance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals and resolve any assembly issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
Desired Characteristics:
- Technical training or certification in mechanical assembly
- Proven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.
- Previous experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and adjust as necessary.
