Role Summary/Purpose
The Power Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) will be a core source of leadership talent for GE. In the program this individual will draw on leadership skills, education, and previous experiences as a top-performing, junior military officer (JMO) to solve complex business problems, develop and execute objectives for self and for others.
Essential Responsibilities
You will be in an industry leading, development program for Junior Officers transitioning from military service. JOLP will be a 2 year program that will provide you with broad experience and exposure to the various core processes, teams and businesses that make up GE Power. The program will focus on developing leaders for all business and functions within GE Power.
These challenging rotational opportunities will provide valuable contacts and experiences that can accelerate the development of your technical, business and professional skills.
In addition you will:
Perform three, eight-month rotations in different functions and/or business areas such as: Supply Chain, Human Resources, Quality, Project Management, Services, Engineering, Product Management and Sales and Commercial Operations
Participate in curriculum based training components focusing on leadership, product and financial skills required to be a GE leader
Be expected to hit the ground running, take responsibility for and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to make a real impact on the organization
Be expected to learn and adapt, to quickly gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment and add value in your assigned role
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Exceptional military career as demonstrated through successful completion of leadership and key developmental assignments
Completion of elite military training (Flight, Nuke, Ranger, SEAL, SFQC, etc.)
Ability to solve problems, delegate and achieve difficult goals
Ability to adapt quickly and eager to learn and master new roles
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Advanced Degree in business, engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
