Role Summary/Purpose

Join us this summer to gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, networking with professionals, and learning from some of the brightest minds in business. GE employees worldwide are dedicated to turning imaginative ideas into leading products and services that help solve some of the world's toughest problems. Every second, 3 patients are imaged using our pharmaceutical diagnostic agents. The work you do this summer will impact lives in moments that matter.
Essential Responsibilities

Our interns:'
• Work on projects often requiring independent decision-making. These projects are normally scoped to last 10-12 weeks in duration. Example Assignments:
(1) Data Steward: Data quality management does not only save time and money for businesses, but it also ensures that the company achieves overall operational efficiency. The data management activities that you will perform are vital to helping improve decision making across the entire organization. You will have the opportunity to work with several different types of systems and gain valuable hands-on experience with today's leading software and cloud-based applications
(2) Medical Affairs Cardiology or Radiology Care Area Intern: Activities of Cardiology Care Area including but not limited to medical slide deck development, coordination of educational activities and roundtable events with Healthcare Personnel (HCPs) at congresses, medical literature search.
(3) Marketing Specialist: Support implementation of the GE Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) Contrast Portfolio Supplier of Choice Campaign. Align market messaging and collateral to reflect new campaign. Update website pages with new campaign.
• Research and develop communication plans and tools (e.g. presentations, events) that enable you to communicate progress, share learned best practices, and/or provide updates
• May be asked to analyze data with excel or various other analysis tools
• Participate in early talent events, seminars or training
• Perform assignments where trust and accuracy are required
Qualifications/Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Quality/Regulatory Affairs, Nursing, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Neuroscience, any Pre-Med or Liberal Arts major
• Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines
• Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of a team
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
• Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones
• Ability to work between the months of June – August
