Job Description Summary
Avio Aero is working with national and international partners to design and develop the power and propulsion system of GCAP program.
As GCAP Risk Manager you will report to NPI Program Director and will be the company focal point and the Point of Contact for External stake holders for the Program Risk Management .
Substantial part of the role is to handle the risks root causes assessment
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
·
Reports to the NPI Program Director (PD) is accountable for GCAP Risk Management activities liasing with Streamlines managers and Cross functional team.
·
Avio Aero point of Contact at GCAP Consortium and Customers for Risk Management
·
Ensure that internal risk evaluation is aligned with Consortium and Customers procedures (e.g Risk Management Plan) and governance
·
Contributes to the development of procedures to satisfy Consortium and Customers risk management requirements in collaboration with Functional Risk Manager.
·
Responsible for update and maintenance of both external and internal risk registers, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
·
Assists Streamlines Cross functional teams in identifying Program Risks.
·
Responsible for the identification of root causes of risks, coordinating efforts of the Risk Evaluation Team (RET) (cross-functional program team).
·
Supports Program Managers in defining, developing and executing risk mitigation plans coordinating efforts across the cross-functional program team.
·
Assists the Program Managers in preparing for Program Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).
·
Collaborates with the Functional Risk Managers ensures the correct application of company procedures and standard work related to risk management.
Qualifications/Requirements
·
Master's Degree in Engineering.
·
Strong Previous experience in project management, skilled in working and influencing a cross functional team in a matrix organization.
·
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to quickly respond to and manage project changes
·
Proactivity, take in charge, self-government and self-determination.
·
Good knowledge of Aerospace industry and understanding of the Defense environment.
·
Highly skilled in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
·
Excellent risks management
·
Excellent problem solving skills
·
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management.
·
Prompt communication, ability to highlight critical issues at the appropriate level and sense of urgency.
·
Knowledge of Company processes, organization and Lean Practitioner
·
Strong ability to document, plan and execute established projects, and management skills.
·
Proven expertise in managing financial metrics
·
Fluent written and spoken English
·
Availability to travel as needed to support the Business
·
Eligible to be security cleared by the Italian National Security Authority (security concerns that can lead to a determination of ineligibility are listed in art. 37 DPCM 6 November 2015 n.5)”
