Role Summary/Purpose
Freight Audit Analyst is responsible for freight payment processes within the region
Essential Responsibilities
· Managing projects to completion on time and on budget
· Maintaining a master plan for all country implementations of freight payment process in EMEA
· Leading country teams to implement freight payment process supported by outsourced specialist audit company
· Ensuring consistent accounting procedures and policies for freight cost implemented in each country
· Liaising with country & GGO Finance teams to ensure that freight invoices are charged to correct General Ledger accounts
· Liaising with country & GGO VAT teams to ensure that freight invoices are charged to correct and process is VAT compliant
· Liaising with country and GGO AP teams to ensure Central pay process rolled out smooth
· Ensuring smooth Carrier communication on the project , prevent operational disruption with respective risk management
· Designing effective freight payment process to meet country regulations and policies
· Supporting IT interface between outsourced audit company and GE accounting ERP modules
· Support Post live monitoring, ops mechs with key stakeholders
· Supporting KPIs reported out on project
· Day to day ops support to Freight Audit provider and internal customers
· Responsible for continuous process improvement

Qualifications/Requirements
· College or Relevant high level degree or formal qualification on business, finance or supply chain
· Project management of internal and outsourced service provider activity
· Participated in simplification projects, process improvement projects
· Fluent in English in verbal and written
· Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
· Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
· Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
· Strong analytical skills
· Fully competent using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc)
· Confidence to work with colleagues in a decentralized business environment
· Well-grounded in financial & IT management
· Experience in freight audit and accounts payable & accounting.
· Knowledge of transportation tariffs and audit processes
· Familiarity with logistics / supply chain processes
· Logical thinking

· Excellent communication and facilitation skills

· Bachelors in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain
