Job Description Summary

To oversee product/services costing, pricing strategies, and financial analysis to ensure competitive profitable quotations for customers. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Operations and other plants to align financial targets with business objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Costing & Pricing Analysis:

·  Develop and maintain standard cost models for products, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and logistics.  
·  Analyze variances between actual costs, standard costs and quote costs, identifying areas for improvement.  
·  Conduct make-or-buy analyses to support decision-making.  
·  Monthly COGS analysis for leadership review(Gross Margin, Cost Breakdowns and Drive actions for cost improvement).

2. Quotation & Proposal Support:

·  Prepare for Quotation, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
·  Collaborate with Operation teams to align pricing strategies with HQ requirements and company margins.  
·  Quotation analyze and walk for the change.

3. Financial Reporting & Controls:

·  Monthly costing ledger close activity, generate monthly costing related reporting(TB/Business review) and KPIs (COQ,VBB, SMI and DOI etc.).  
·  Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).  
·  MJE Preparation for adjustments(FIFO/Reserve/ICP etc.) and account reconciliations.
·  Annual audit involved for inventory/costing related.

4. Process Improvement & Other assignments:

·  Identify opportunities to optimize costs through supplier negotiations or process efficiencies.  
·  Implement tools (ERP systems, Excel models) to streamline costing and quotation workflows.  
·  As business partner to evolve plant EHS activities & Labor Union booking etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.  

- Experience: 3+ years in costing/financial analysis, preferably in industry, e.g., manufacturing

Technical Skills:

  - Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (Oracle).  

  - Knowledge of activity-based costing (ABC) and marginal costing techniques.  

Soft Skills:

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.  

  - Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.  

  - Fluency in English.
