Essential Duties:
- Perform or assist as necessary in the alignment or leveling of equipment.
- Document in detail the progress of incomplete repair to the following shift so as to minimize start up time of the personnel.
- Consultation, in conjunction with the appropriate Facilities Engineer, with outside vendors on unsolved repair problems.
- Continue to strive for excellence in the electrical, electronic and mechanical
- disciplines through self-study and/or formal education as applicable.
- Perform troubling shooting and repair of specialized equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance as needed in the installation or rearrangement of production equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of all electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement.. Lean, Safety, Quality, & Productivity Improvements
- Performed all other related / assigned duties. Perform duties as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- A. S. Degree such as Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, or comparable content degree program.
- Demonstrated working knowledge in servicing and using programmable controls and computer numerical controls to troubleshoot machine problems.
- Demonstrated knowledge in conventional electronic and electrical systems and discreet control systems.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of direct current drives, servo systems, and numerical control technologies, with satisfactory progression in cutting (or) grinding processes and pertinent machine programming.
- A minimum of 5 consecutive years full time experience in industrial machine tool maintenance including electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, no equivalency.
- Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive maintenance technician aptitude assessment.
- Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment.
- Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs and safety shoes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Facilities Technician Y:
Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $39.438 – $40.651. This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e., 2nd or 3rd shift. Plus $1.00 USD an hour on top of base pay. This posting is expected to close on December 2nd, 2024.
