Job Description Summary

Responsible for coordinating all facility maintenance services which include but not limited to janitorial staff, site security, cranes, doors, plumbing, landscaping / snow removal, events, elevator, pest control, fire / smoke, roof, fork trucks, and HVAC. Support the maintenance team as needed. Work in a team environment supporting production, maintenance, EHS, and engineering activities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will include ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
  • Working with facility management to develop department and project budgets.
  • Maintain budget tracking and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors for timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting to support complex equipment and systems issues.
  • Manage relationships with service providers and vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effective services.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, project progress, and compliance documentation.
  • Process purchase request, track vendor funding and prepare reports.
  • Verify final invoice pricing in a timely manner.
  • Maintains files on work orders, proposals, and department files.
  • Oversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, to closure.
  • Develop schedules for facility projects when utilizing vendors.
  • Assist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performance.
  • Monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities projects to ensure standards are met.
  • Manage on-site contractors.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating work schedule and the needs of the facility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document and keep records.
  • Established project management skills
