At GE Vernova, our engineers play a critical role in keeping power flowing safely and reliably. We’re looking for a Power Transformer Engineer who takes ownership on site, leads by example, and partners closely with customers to deliver world‑class commissioning and service outcomes.
Job Description
What you’ll do
· Lead on‑site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and warranty activities for power transformers
· Own site execution — from unloading and erection to oil processing, testing, and handover — with safety as the top priority
· Act as the technical lead with customers, project managers, and vendors to resolve issues and deliver solutions
· Prepare and manage site documentation including RAMS, NCRs, technical reports, and commissioning records
· Coach and coordinate site teams to build capability and ensure quality delivery
· Support tenders and long‑term service contracts with strong technical input
What you bring
· Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
· Strong hands‑on experience with power transformer commissioning and site activities
· Proven ability to lead site teams , manage customers, and solve problems under pressure
· Solid understanding of field services, construction sites, and EHS requirements
· Fluent English and willingness to travel globally
