What impact you’ll make?
Leads the strategic engineering activities for AERO/Repair COE. Covers all manufacturing/assembly/repair technology. Establishes and manages a multi skilled engineering group which works on a common base according to a well defined strategy and fully supports the production both in terms of daily activities and long term improvements by working close to cell leaders, production planners and shift supervisors on the appropriate level of engineering groups.

Job Description

What you’ll do

·  Define manufacturing engineering strategy for components/repair production
·  Engineering, standardizing and optimizing manufacturing processes
·  Continuously lead productivity efforts
·  Take the lead NPIs,(Lead Time, technology, tooling, fixturing, programming, Quality Plan,  first 5 sets manufacturing)
·  Take the lead on machine installations and technology transfers.
·  Responsible for all strategic I&E projects
·  Take the lead on manufacturing BOM / Routing creation, improvement and standardization
·  Standardize tooling and fixturing, took part in tool tests
·  Create and improve manufacturing/repair documents, owns the engineering part of document management system
·  Utilize Six Sigma as a method of product and process improvement
·  Improve Lean Production by using Kaizen activities
·  Take part in the operator suggestion evaluation, implementation, working together with the operative engineering team
·  Initiate, manage and track corrective actions relating to engineering processes
·  Represent Hungary Repair CoE in the global repairs teams (just in Repair COE)
·  Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events.
·  Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing.
·  Manufacturing/Assembly/Repair standard time reductions

What you will bring

·  BSc/MSc engineering degree
·  Significant manufacturing experience
·  Shopfloor practice, leadership, project ownership experience
·  Excellent Hungarian and English technical language knowledge
·  6 Sigma, Lean knowledge, leadership
·  Team player, excellent communication, problem solving, facilitation skills.
