Role Summary/Purpose

The P&ID Engineer has the responsibility of the on-time delivery of the P&ID and associated lists according to the valid Work Instructions and Technical Rules, with respect to the Project and contractual requirements, and GE EHS Policy, with technical support from the Process Lead Engineer and Experts
Essential Responsibilities

Elaboration and coordination of P&ID with P&ID tool, taking into account Process flows diagram, process lead engineer inputs, contractual requests, GE working instruction, MTS dates for piping and valves, equipment drawings, arrangement inputs, in order to issue P&ID on time.
•On time elaboration of Process lists :
o Piping
o Equipment
o Valves
o Nozzles
o Interfaces
•Load and check consistencies list into MTA :
o Piping
o Valves
o Equipment
o Nozzles
•Manage internal piping and internal valves lists, as input for piping and valves engineers.
•Partners and supplier interfaces document checking and implementation into P&ID.
•Supports process, arrangement, piping and mechanical engineers.
•Participates in P&ID reviews.
•Ensures REX to & from the projects.
•Participates in the maintenance and improvement process of design methods, rules and tools.
•Increases his competence for new technologies by participating in trainings, using mentoring of self-training, looking for opportunities and proposing ideas for Cost Reduction.
Qualifications/Requirements

- 2/3 years technical degree, appropriate to the technical field involved (orientated preferably in piping or mechanics)
- 5-10 years of experience in P&ID designing for Power, petroleum or chemical industries.
- Excellent hands-on experience of Industry tools used for P&ID designing, namely Aveva Diagram, SPPID and COMOS.
