Role Summary/Purpose
Under moderate supervision, performs assembling or adjusting of a semi-repetitive nature where simple or very similar techniques are
required, using a variety of hand and simple power tools. May include wiring of semi-repetitive units of small or medium size. May involve working from simple prints wiring diagrams etc prints, diagrams, etc.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Electro-Mechanical Assembler II, you will:
· Electro-Mechanical assembly
· Hardware fastening and wiring of control panels in lean line atmosphere
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
· Minimum 2 years experience in electro-mechanical assemlbing
Eligibility Requirements:
· Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
· Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
· Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
· Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Desired Characteristics
· Demonstrated ability to follow GA drawings and wiring schematics
· Demonstrated ability to read and follow assembly instructions
· Able to use hand tools for this type of work
· Demonstrated ability to recognize the tools required for this type of work
· Motivated to get the job done right and on time
· Work well with others
· Little to no supervision required
