Role Summary/Purpose

Maintain and problem solve machine tools breakdowns and issues. As a member of maintenance team, carry out all duties involved in maintaining various machine tools including DST and WFL, CNC with Siemens 840D controls and Siemens Sinumatic motors and drives. (Training will be provided)
Essential Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Production Machine Tools
• Good communicator and team player
• Collating and recording Maintenance records
• Sourcing essential spares
Qualifications/Requirements

• 17th Edition Certificate
• Served recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Ability to interact with machine manufacturers engineers/ technicians and machine operators to establish issues, fault find and implement solutions in a safe and timely manner
• Ability to prioritise tasks and liaise with production to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
Desired Characteristics

• Use of Siemens PG
• Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic circuits
• Mechanical fault finding
• WAH, Confined space, overhead crane and FLT trained
• Maintenance of Fronius Conventional and ETR weld clad rigs
• Maintenance of heating transformers
• Use of Machine CD ROM’s to identify parts
