Job Description Summary
The Early Career Training is a 1-year program up to 2 years and it is an investment in young talents where GE trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE business. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures.In line with Emiratization requirements preference will be given to qualified Emirati nationals.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Assist with proposal generation for the control solution.
- Assist in creation of the Bill of Materials needed for the project.
- Coordinate with other functions – engineering, supply chain, sourcing, services to received requisite input.
- Assist to prepare network drawing for control systems.
- Prepare communications to be shared with Internal and External Stakeholders.
- Assist to Ensure timely follow ups with KPI owners and drive positive results.
- Participate in regional discussions for systems and processes.
- Support with other critical processes as needed for Escalations& operating rhythms.
- Support Business process for the reliability & risk mitigation strategies.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Engineering from an accredited university or institution.
- Understanding on Basic Control System / Instrumentation engineering at the undergraduate level
- Maximum 2 years of experience in Power Plant and/or O&M supporting role.
- Proficient in Excel, Intermediate skills in Windows and other Office apps, Basic VBA/Tableau skills or familiarity with basic programming languages.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
